VS manual ute & push bike,
Hi,

I am in the middle making a twin throttle body for it with modified intake out of alloy! when it is finished I need some advice!
whats next? do i get a tune? do i wait to put new rockers and heads on then get it all tuned in one go?? what else can i put on what fuel pump what injectors. This is my first holden and i need some advice for good power mods!

Just so your aware you won't make any extra power well none usable anyway, the Eco throttle body and intake isn't a restriction on an otherwise stock engine. By all means still do it but you won't gain much and loose some bottom end more than likely , you will definately need it tuned or it won't work very well at all... If your doing other mods get it tuned once you've got them all

I take it you still want it na, in which case some other good mods include cam, intske manifold spacer, shift kit if auto

The rockers are good if your not doing a cam!

If those are the only mods your doing don't bother with new heads ported factory heads often out flow the aftermarket ones, a head shave, mild port, bigger valves and 105 lb pressure springs (if u like the limiter) will be niiiiice but don't expect a 10 second commodore....

Unless it's going to be forced induction , a twin throttle body won't do a great deal , and as above you'll a bit of bottom end power , but it does sound like an interesting project , I'm keen to see pics as well .

VS manual ute & push bike,
thanks everyone, the twin throttle body is just a project more of because i am training to be a fabricator it is more of a $30 project but keen to see what results i get.

Also are high lift rockers computable with a cam? or will that just be complete overkill?

this is what i have done today, involved cutting up and milling down the plenum, then pulling apart the TB's and modifying them to only have one of both sensors along with being able to connect them using a rod

Looks good , I've heard of it being done before , but not on a N/A engine , not sure but I think high lift rockers and a cam may give too much lift on the valve train , but don't quote me on that .

Someone I can't remember who exactly might be comp cams, make a performance cam specifically for use with hi ratio rockers
