vs ute v8 diff?

    Ive just gone and got a roadworthy on my ute and one thing that came up was the diff when i bought it i was told it was mini spooled but when turning it shakes and feels tough stiff how and on the rwc it says is it locked? because it looks like its welded.What i wanted to know is if this is dodgey or if not can i explain its mini spooled (but would that pass)? i dont know any thing about diffs any heklp is much appreciated thank you

    You can tell him its locked because of a mini spool and it wont make a difference. They're are illegal and wont pass in any state or territory.

    No, you can take out the diff centre and replace it with what was there first... unless its welded which you can then use it as a boat anchor....

    Yeah no welds mis communication with the old boy so I'm now chasing the stock splints and sell the spool thanks mate for the help
