If its the front bearing that is part of the pulley/clutch and rotates all the time then yes you can. If it the actual front compressor bearing which only turns when the A/C is on then no you cannot unless you remove from vehicle after evacuating the gas etc.
Put simply, if the noise is there with the A/C off then you can replace the bearing.

Unforunately you havent stated where the noise is coming from (see my post)..but I'll surmise its from the clutch.
All I know is that its a large double row ball bearing of a size that is very very common. Pull the pulley off and you will be able to see the ident number of the bearing and then go to one of the many bearing places and buy one. Alternatively find what type of compressor you have - Sanden 506B (fictitous) and visit an auto aircon place and buy one. Make sure you know how to remove and replace as the pulley is made from alloy and can be damaged. Play it cool and you'll have no worries.

As already stated earlier, take the old bearing or the number on the bearing to a bearing place like CBC Bearings and they should be able to supply one. They might also have a listing for it without you taking the old bearing in.
