When you say rebuilt.. was there new servos , bands and all the rest replaced? , and will it fit in where a 6HDD resides?

Description

Yeah basically man. took the box to my mates workshop, pulled the whole thing apart, checked all the clutch packs and replaced some of them. new band and smoothed up the drum that the band grips on. The servo and the pump were both pressure tested, not replaced and a shift kit was fitted. put it all back together and put it on there gearbox dyno that spins it up just like a car would.

So really it is not a completely rebuilt box with new servo and solinoids, but like i said my mate is a auto box builder and knows his **** so, it will shift hard and last a far while.

Aslong as your ute is a floor shift not a column. this box will fit it.

The difference is the selector shaft that comes out the side of the gear box, the colum shift has a longer shaft out the side of the box than the floor shift. The shafts can be swap, so your selector shaft would swap over with the shorter shaft on the floor shift model. Is the box still in the car?
