VS V6 eprom chip code? 27c??

    my vp has a 27c128
    what does the vs v6 commodore have?
    it has delco bsth on it i want to re program it but i need to know the chip type

    I think its a 512 but none of us have the locations of all the stuff in the VS chip so good luck changing the tune :)

    Use a 1mb EEprom instead (eg. AM29F010B or AT29C010A ) it dosen't need a UV eraser to re-write the contents, just write over the old bin.

    As Greenfoam mentioned you need the $51 definition file to tune the bin file or are you just copying a current bin file to your PROM?

    Even though they use a 1mb eprom the program content starts at 2000h so there is a large blank area before you see any program in the bin file.
