vs v6 fuel issue

I thought, on a VS, the Oil Pressure Switch only comes into play once the engine is running???
In any case, as far as I know, Bridging the Relay takes the OPS out of the equation.

Actually, EPHECT may be right...it may depend on the model of the car.

ive had the engine running briefly on areostart so that should rule out the oil pressure switch yes?

no as its fed right into the airannd throttle body

okay just tried the bridging trick but there was nothing, couldnt hear the fuel pump even prime, there was power their though becuase it sparked slightly when the connections where made

ok without bridging remove the power from the fuel pump where it connects to tank, bridge the two wires, go under and check with a mutltimetre tester and see if ur getting 12 volts, then remove the bridge and see if there is still power, if there is no power after bridging then there is another issue ur facing, i suggest take it to an auto elec if u have no power down thereafter bridging at the fuse box

check the voltage @ the fuel pump plug (bridge the relay points) could be a dodgy earth and not enough voltage at the pump. Quicker and easier than pulling the pump out.

You've had the lines dixconnected in the engine bay, no chance you've got the in/out line mixed up?

yeh it does prime for the 10 seconds or however long it is

What about the fuel pressure regulator, have you eliminated that?

what about the relay.. they can **** themselves.
