Afternoon,

Yes I did notice a spark missed every so often.
I will buy a new coil pack set after all. I guess I wanted to make sure I tested the spark first. This may not be for a few weeks depending on finances.

Maybe MSD or fuelmiser - delphi.
Already has new dfi ignition module

Pete

Delphi will be just fine for what you need. Don't bother with MSD or others like them. Honestly I fitted Gorst coils and I doubt it made any difference, except a bit quicker to start when cranking.

Been investigating this myself as mine was missing/hesitating under load. Found that a wire had been cut and rejoined with a bullet head connector in the loom to the coil pack. It has some bare wire contacting/earthing out on the bracket that holds the DFI and coils. Gave it a foot flat blat up my local hill and it pulled like a 14 yr old boy. Check your connections maybe?

Hey guys,
Been busy and aiding a pinched nerve.

Finally got a can of liquid moly injector cleaner. I've just added it to my fuel tank now. So will see if there's any difference in the next week and post back.

I've also changed to a set of new coil packs lately, and no difference if any.

Cheers
Pete

No noticable difference so far.
Will keep investigating.

Cheers Pete

Did you get around to fixing the problem?
Hi, no the same symptoms are there today.
I've been looking at sensor data via pcmhacking, and the sensor data looks fine.
Looking to be a mechanical issue, possibly valve springs / valve seats, an engine builder suggested.
