G'day all.
Converting my 95 vs exec to manual. bought a getrag manual box with all wiring, hydraulics, computer, shaft etc but the wrecker mentioned that because it was out of a later model (apparently it came out of a VS cop car??) that the flywheel is different and i'd be better off with a new one. My mate who is gonna help put it in said i could machine the one i have and use that but he doesn't know if the bolt patterns are the same. Are there any changes in the bolt patterns that may screw my plans up?

Is it true i will need a new starter motor too??
Cheers

Flywheel and starter will be fine. You can't machine a dual mass flywheel anyway.

The getrag crossmember won't fit without drilling holes and adding captive nuts inside the chassis closet to the engine.

Wiring is as simple as changing the memcal over and extending the reverse wires from the shifter down to the switch on the box and bridging the black and grey start wires.
