What damage. Was running fine until I started it after changing the TB to the front of charger. I used a timing light on all the leads and all the right hand bank (2,4,6) looks like its missing every 2nd beat and the left (1,3,5) bank is fine. It got me lost! How do I go about fault elimanation on the wires to the coils etc?
if ya leads are old cheapys i'd be changing them, ... or buy a single one and test them all one by one.. and same with the coils, borrow some or buy a single second hand one and test em or swap em around and see if ya can get the wet plug to swap cylinders..
Been through all the plugs and changed coil packs and leads and it still the same low on 2,4,6 but 4 is the problem I think It may be injector side of it. What easy injector upgrade can I use?
on a standard tune a standard injector...you go to say a 775 bluetop you will need the memcal redone to control them...if no4 plug is wet its possible the injector has failed and is staying open if you have changed plugs and leads etc...test this by moving no4 injector to the no1 cylinder running it and then checking to see if no1 cyl plug is wet or try a s/hand known good injector straight into no4...
It has standed injectors but id say its staying open couse its using lots of fuel 1/4 tank per 45km. Im having trubble finding injectors, Im wanting to get VT or VX ones as they are the same but better. Im looking at a set of Ford FPV F6 injeters that are for the 4 Letre 6 cylinder so should be just a bit bigger, What you think?
