Just after more information in regards what else has to be done for a VS V6 Tuneup.

I have changed the following:

1. Spark Plugs
2. Spark Plugs Leads
3. Fuel Filter
4. Air Filter
5. Oil and Oil Filter

Does it need to be checked on a computer ?, Do I need to check the timing ?

Thanks in advance

Looks like you've covered everything...except maybe change the coolant if it hasn't been done by you in the last year or so...and check all coolant hoses/radiator cap and replace any that look even a tiny bit dodgy. Check the serpentine belt for cracks/splits. You cannot alter the timing and the computer looks after itself nicely. Congratulations on looking after your car.

No need to connect to a computer mate. Just wasteing your time. If you want to check for error codes, use the paper clip technique, but you really only need to pull the paper clip out if you are having troubles. Umm do a search. We have covered most of the checks before, including checking spark plug leads etc. You can check them rather than replacing them if you wnat to save a bit of money. Timing is controlled by the computer and is not adjustable. From my experimentation, oil and oil filter will make a big difference in your fuel economy, at least for a few weeks.

Other things like checking battery and terminals, clean the throttle body if you feel you are up to it (theres a good how to guide), tyre pressures etc. General checks. Get yourself a good manual too. It details alot of good checks that can be done.

another thing to keep in mind, blow through the MAF with carby cleaner to remove any deposits from the sensor elements.
