Hi all,

Yesterday I picked up my new toy. It's an unregistered VT with a smashed rear window, really shotty body work and three chrome rims XD
So why buy it?
Ok;
- 4.2L Stroker
- Two turbos
- Intercooler
- Custom intake
- Oil catch can (Think that's what it's called)
- Blow off valve
- High compression heads
- Stainless steel (I think) rocker covers
- High flow injectors
- High flow fuel pump
- Drilled front brake disks with large calipers
- All the gauges
- Bucket seats
- Awesome diff (haven't looked at what it is yet)
- Apparently the auto box has had work done and has a high stally (Haven't checked that either)

Basically the point of this thread is to share my experience of fitting all the above to my VS, hopefully help others and get a little help myself :)

So any knowledge and tips that you guys could share would be awesome as this is a fairly new experience for me.

So all of this and more...

I'm also repainting my VS and hopefully getting Y series senator signature wheels.
Keen as beans XD

shouldn't it read:
Aluminium Rocker covers?
low compression heads?

Pics of 'all the gauges' please

I look forward to seeing the completion of this one :)

Quite possibly aluminium rocker covers lol
Why would they be low compression heads?

There's the boost guage, oil temp and pressure guage. Not sure what the gauge in the engine bay is but ima guess at something to do with the vacuum?
Oh and I forgot to mention it has a turbo timer :)

I like to think I know a fair bit about ecotecs but this is my first experience with both a stroker and boost so go easy if I say something stupid lol I wanna learn :)

I'd like to engineer it if it's not much trouble.
Trying to build a weapon on a budget here XD

i hope you got proof that its stroker.

Looks like it could be a good deal if it is and isnt ####ed. Someone has spent some money on it and by the looks it never ran properly they have done a few things badly but it has good potential.

interested to know what turbo's they are look quite small might be IHI written on them

I'd say the gauge in the engine bay is for fuel pressure

Can't wait to get rid of the stupid maf lol couldn't believe it was still in there.
It is a stroker but I just found out it has standard heads. Will be putting my ported heads on for sure.
It's not quite running right atm but it feels like it just needs a good service.
New plugs, leads and oil. I'll check all the sensors and get a mafless tune once it's in the VS.
Make sure all the lines are good and make sure there's decent cooling.
I realise it's a little messy lol but I'll be making sure everything's tidy and done properly.
They are IHI turbos. Any idea on the quality? They needs the seals replaced but I'm looking into that.
Has a stage 2 shift kit and a 3500 rpm high stall converter.
