im preparing to do a 5.0L conversion on my vs ute was wondering what basic problems im going to encounter as most likly my doner car is going to be a sedan will everything pretty much be a straight swap ? or will i need to obtain certain things eg suspention for the ute alone
Just finishing off my conversion now. If you have a donar car you are laughing as everthing you need should be on it. I didn't and the owner of the motor I bought just cut most of the hoses and stuff cost me a fair bit to buy new ones, word of warning DON'T cut the fuel lines at the back of the motor they are worth 300.00 for the both. Basically label everything and just take it easy and you should be fine.
