I own a Holden FJ sedan fitted with a VS V6 commodore engine and power train harness. Recently the engine died so I have replaced it with a VY V6 super charged engine. I have to have the computor remaped at a cost of $900 (the computer is 13 years old) but a brand new VY computor from Holden is only $200 more. My question is. Will a VY computer run the auxillary side of the power train VS as well or will I have to have it remaped to suit. I have not used the commodore instrument panel only the wires for individual gauges plus electric windows, A/C etc.
