VS Wagon rear side window mouldings

They all do it over time i.e. the black plastic moulding that goes around the edge of the rear side windows eventually become patchy and oxidized. What is the best way to prep them and what brand of pressure pack automotive paint do you use to bring them up to spec ?

same issue here, I was just going to pop down to autobarn and get some cheap automotive spray paint, mask up the area, and paint it. I was thinking a half matte half gloss
