VS Warped Airbag Cover fixed

Had a motor trimmer fix my warped airbag cover - he ended up fashioning a custom cover using standard VS trim. The new cover won't warp and does not impact on airbag deployment. A vast improvement on the old warped cover! (1 picture of before and 2 of after)
Cost $80 and there was no need to remove the dash.

tim_pato - yeah it's in great nick, but the car has only done 115,000k's and has had an easy life. The airbag cover bugged the hell of out me so I'm glad it's fixed.
BottleFedVS - In the end it was really simple. He toyed with the idea of pulling the entire dash out and unbolting the cover to try and manipulate it into shape, but noted that it might just warp again even with the best glue - so instead he opted to tear off the old cover (came off in pieces as they're well secured) and then just fashioned a replacement. The hardest part was to match the trim but he did a great job. Took him an hour or so with a great end result.

I took the easy way out on my old ss ute. I just swapped out the dash for the non airbag model. Looks like he did a good job and can't complain about that price either.
