vs won't start immobiliser light not flashing

hi,

just looking for some help as my everyday vs has decided to stop starting so symptoms are.

security light has stopped working

no cranking at all neutral or park

check engine light seems to be on with ignition on .

i tried to hot wire the starter with key in the on position the engine would crank but not fire.

now the key is in a pretty poor shape no buttons and sometimes i need to hit the unlock button to get it to crank if the security light stayed on.

but now with the security light out at all times it still won't crank.

i tried disconnecting the battery but nothing changed

i also checked the contact on the sign key with steel contacts it stays in contact at all times during key on and crank.

so I'm looking at best ways out of this do i get the computer modified to run with out bcm or do i try another bcm and key set?

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The BCM isn't seening ground. It could be a wire or the BCM it's self.

so I'm just looking now at the location of the bcm im looking at getting it out and have a look at it so i know what im probably going to need.

Fusible link off positive terminal?

All fuses etc been checked with test light?

Check fault codes when bridge pins 5 & 6?

Keyhead or voltage issue issue be worth looking at too

thanks guys so it forgot to mention that it normally stays outside with the windows down in the rain .

well I've just removed the bcm saw what looks like corrosion on the terminals so I've them removed the bcm and opened it up and the little screws inside it were rusty and I've actually removed the circuit board from the black plastic case and its very well corroded on the under side to the point that im very certain that is the problem.
