VSB055 - VS clubsport

Hi

This is my VS HSV Clubsport I purchased a few days ago. it is stock as a rock other than an exhaust at the moment.

The story behind the clubby is quite close to me however and ill try not to bore you

about 2 years ago I owned another V8 a VZ SS 6.0L 6spd

I put a bit of money into it performance wise Cam-Otr-tune shifters bla blah. one night on the way home from dinner with my wife we were t-boned in an intersection into the passenger side by a car going over the speed limit. Was quite traumatic event and I thought my wife had died but she was okay just KTFO (see pics of her door) insurance paid out and I decided to buy a new hilux instead because i didn't want to go to all the effort of buying and modding another V8.

anyway while surfing the net I found this old clubby for a good price and was very clean so I thought id go have a look. i fell in love with it and a week later bought it.

I also bought a set of personalised plates for it last night that say VSB055 (vs boss) in hope one day it may be worthy to bear them haha.

first off tint and suspension, its a bit rough ATM being OEM and old, probably just petters shocks with a slightly lower spring. Then when I get back on track with money I will get a shift kit, a better CAI and maybe look at diff gears. and start saving for a cam and tune. The exhaust system that is on it sounds good so probably won't touch that unless I have too

the 3spoke rims I really like and always have so they will stay which I know will annoy a lot of folks.

to be perfectly honest I have only just been pondering myself havnt really put a ton of thought into anything yet haha.

 

well i havnt really done much to the old girl still other than maintenance so so, new slotted rotors full service etc… but here is some photos to keep the thread alive.
