VT 5 Litre mods and tune to suit

Hi Guys,

I have almost finished the following basic bolt on mods to my old 5 litre;

2.5 inch cat back
CAI with POD filter
Cleaned up and port matched standard manifold
Last piece is the mace oversize throttle body

Can you supply an off the shelf chip for these basic mods??

I was quoted about $1800 from a local company and thought they were taking the piss!!

You'll obviously see greater gains with a full custom dyno tune, however, given the light modifications you have, we will be able to calibrate a memcal to suit.

Just a quick update for any potential MACE customers out there! I spoke at length with the guys yesterday afternoon about what they can do for me and other potential mods in relation to the 5 litre. They were very accommodating and explained everything in great detail which was great.

The standout for me was the passion these guys have for what they do and it really shows! I believe this is a rare quality these days in biz and it should be acknowledged accordingly.

I will update once I have received the memcal

Just so you know, That's not a one off Troy.
They have been equally brilliant and helpful (and knowledgeable) when I have dealt with them in the past. And I think I've purchased every item they offer for sale on the 5.0ltr. well, excluding the charger of course.

Thread dig but on the same topic: 2 questions:

- Do you still sell the oversized throttle body for the 5.0l?
- Does your current memcal application (VT 5L auto) still work with a bored out throttle body?
