Vt 5l not going as expected

I gave it 1/2 turn of pre load

Try holding 2nd gear at WOT, getting up to over 4500, then lift and re stab the throttle to see if it clears and picks up better.

Hi all, i know this thread is old, but i ended up getting the exhaust done and put a carby on the engine and it completely transformed the engine from 230rwhp to to 320rwhp now i am very happy with the result i have a suspicion the injectors were on the way out and not injecting enough/ right, so next will be new injecters and try a re-tune
