vt 98 wont start need ideas

Hey guys.
got myself a sv6 done some work to it.
second time i got this issue so far.

car stalled and wont restart. im getting fuel into the system but the engine wont turn over.
first time that it happened i was told to reset the ecu. worked the first time but now it wont work at all.


Any ideas what might be wrong with it?

Crank sensor , pour cold water behind the balancer and see if it fires

if it was the crank angle sensor then the car would start when its cold.

do you mean it wont crank over or it cranks over but wont fire
stalling and then wont crank could be severely flat/faulty battery and faulty alternator or faulty ECU
you seem to have two unrelated faults or your description needs clarifying

First thing i would do is check error codes.

Crank angle sensors usually throw a code up if something wrong.

First off check for codes on the diagnostic connector located under the drivers side.
Also I read that you have checked for fuel but not spark you can have all the fuel in the world but she wont fire until you get spark and air in side of her.

You didn't mention if hot or cold , by your description it stalled and wouldn't start .
Is it just a dead key when turning ignition or does it crank but won't fire ?

my fault with the lack of information.

cranks but wont fire up.
cold start too.

battery is about 6 months old.
had the crank sensor replaced already.

Take the 2 plug leads off each coil pack ( 1 pack at a time ) quick crank and see if it sparks between the poles on each coil pack , if none spark then DFI module under them is most likely the issue

can you hear the fuel pump prime for 5 seconds when you switch ignition to reds
