vt abs module problems

    hey all i have a vt commodore acclaim and with the heat my abs module is playing up which warning lights abs,trac, engine check light oil, and error word on the odometer window and every now and then thermo fans kick in. how can i fix this problem as i dont have 700 buks to throw away. i heard u can change just half the module where the black plastic is!

    got mine for $70 bucks on ebay, and dont listen to people saying you need the exact numbers for it, all you need is same specs, eg if you have a vt v6 auto with traction control, you need a abs module from a vt v6 auto with traction control, i spent years trying to find the exact model number for mine to come up forsale, then a mate of mine worked in spare parts at holden said to me, all you need is same specs, so bit the bullet got one that had same features and sure enough has worked now for about 4 years

    do u have to change the whole unit or u can just replace the back plastic bit instead of taking all the lines off!

    will the "error" msg on screen dissapear if u get a new abs module?

    yes, you dont need anyone to clear it
