Hey everyone was hoping someone had an idea whats causing this, I've searched the forums and cant find anything similar.

The problem is the gauge cluster warning lights.

No airbag light, engine check light or oil light.

The water temp warning light is constantly on, even tho the temp gauge is fine.

The airbag warning chime sounds every time the car is turned on. 3 sets of 3 beeps.

All the bulbs have been replaced so thats not the problem.

I've taken it to an auto sparky and after plugging it into his diagnostics computer he said he doesn't know whats wrong with it, couldn't turn the temp warning off or the engine light on which usually you can do with the diagnostic tool.

    Thanks

sounds like it could be a faulty ABS module
they can cause all sorts of weird display issues
or ese maybe a faulty cluster
how long has problem been happening?
did it suddenly happen or intermittent for a while
has any mods been performed which could affect this

I did think abs module but since the abs light does what is should I figured it must be something else?

I've only had the car 6 months and its never had engine, airbag or oil lights. The airbag chime started about 3 months ago and the temp warning light came on about 2 weeks ago.
"Trac off" is another light that doesn't work, "low trac" does work tho.

Nah mate no mods and the cars only done 170k's

    try unplugging abs module
car will still be fine to drive but will not have abs just normal brakes
if that doesn't prove naything you may have to swap one or the other to diagnose further

Yeah I've already done that and it didn't change anything, will have to find a commodore wreckers in Brissy and swap the cluster i think. Cheers for your input

might even be worthwhile going to holden and see if tech2 can communicate to all the modules

Looks like it was a faulty cluster.
Picked up a second hand one from the wreckers, now the only light on is the airbag light that wasn't working before which makes sense cause I've still got the warning chime.
Every other light is behaving as it should except trac off which might be a bad globe.
Still got to go into holden to see if they can adjust the odometer to the km's the car has actually done. The new cluster is 25k to high.

    odometer can't be changed
but you will still need to go to holden or similar to diagnose and reset airbag light and possibly set number of airbags for new cluster

Holden re-calibrated the new cluster to suit my car as like you said, different number of airbags and also the new cluster didn't recognise the "trac off" button. Only problem now is the clock spring needs replacing and taking back to holden service to clear the airbag fault light
