As an auto sparky who does aircon and has a panel beater shop next door, they will always bring there cars to us if the gas has not leaked out to be evacuated.

Reason they do that is so you can't pull theres a leak behind the dash when you gas it back up and the leak is really at the schrader or something you've touched. Lots of aircons have alot of come backs? It was wasn't leaking before is the panel beaters come back you wear the cost of re-gassing it.

I saw the thread title and knew this was going to be a problem...

To the OP, I suggest you check legislation with regard to venting refrigerant to atmo, I'm no expert but I don't believe you are allowed to do such a thing. If you peruse the forum rules (you just agreed to) you'll see we don't condone breaking the law. I also suggest you check the forum rules in regards to abusing other members.
