k well i had a vt equip and i had it on riding SSSL on the back and SSL at the front....and in my opinion was too low, i could barely have people in the back seats or it'd scrub like crazy

and selling the spring and thinkin of purchasing other ones

and if you got pics of your car heights that can help me,,,or just your own opinions would be great

I believe personal opinion only, That FE2 to SL height is best for handling and performance.
Anything in the SSL down range is more look then handling, And going that low you loose comfort and scrap more.

My car is currently just above SL territory but lower then fe2. Handles great an hasn't scrapped with anyone in it.

HSV height is the optimum for handling. You need to have enough clearance (from the bump stops) for proper suspension movement.

Im in the same boat, i wanna go low but not scraping low. Currently on FE2 at the back, what do people reccomend? Will stage 1 be not low enough? My mechanic says if I go super-low springs ill need a camber kit to not eat through tyres?

well from my experience, depending on hw low you really want to go....ill try find a pic of what my car looked like with SSSLs on the stockies...but if you want it under the tyre, then SSSL will definately do a good job doing that...and the ssl at the front would make it sit nice....im a fan of having lower at the back than at the front, makes it look more natural but thats just my opinion

PM me and ill do you a good price on the springs, their only a month old cuz i sold my car, got a new one and dont want it as low anymore, getting older now haha

    cheers.

Hey guys I've got a question regarding ride height, I am looking at getting 17" VZ Calais rims on my VT and want to lower it with SL King Springs, am I right in saying that SL is the smallest drop you can get? Also I was just thinking about lowering it at the back, would this give me better handling? and would i have any tire problems with increased wear etc? I want the back a little lower, not looking for a big drop just a little, as I still want to go over speed bumps properly and go up driveways normally. Cheers.

    How it is now:

thats mine on SL front, SSSL/UL rear about 1 month after installed, i would like it sitting about maybe another 20mm lower, but how it is atm it makes it over 90% of most carpark speed humps ect.

hey dude, i have superlows all round, must be a pain in the rear with ultra's in the rear.
theres no way my front can go lower as my pacemaker extractors sit about 4cm off the ground, lol they scrub on everything.

my foot doesnt even fit under them on the flat lol.

i say lower the better as long as you run good tyres that fit in the guard with out scraping, i have no issues with tyre scraping, but as for everything else well thats a diffrent story.
Mine has ultra lows in the rears with no rubbers under it so just metal to etal and the front is superlows with monroe gt gas shocks rides awsome:D

I have pics on my ride if you like to have a look
