Hey guys, just a quick one, on my vt i have to slam the absolute **** out of my bonnet to get it to shut. When i lube up the spring part, at the front on the engine bay in the little hole, it shuts perfect for about a week and gets really stiff again. Can you adjust the tension on that spring that pushes in?

There is a slot in the part below the spring, you can screw it in or out with a screwdriver.

Look at the spring part of the latch that is attached to the bonnet, below the spring is a round knob thing which comes to a point. The slot is in the pointy part.

Well iv looked around, and cant work out why the hell my bonnet still doesnt shut. If you sit the bonnet down then push on it, it should clip shut like any other bonnet right? coz mine ONLY shuts when you drop it from about half way open and push down hard as its falling down. Iv turned that top spring and didnt do a thing,
