hi,

I was wondering the legalities of a vt brake conversion?

Im guessing that only upgrading the master, booster and rear calipers
to a vt setup would make it legal?

im just curious as i have vt calipers on my vs and am unsure if it will pass rwc.

Depends on your state your in, it seems to be missing from your header on your posts. Maybe you need to fill out your details in user CP. If it NSW yes you will need an engineers certificate.

You wont need an engineers cert to pass roadworthy though! As long as the brakes work it'll pass. You'd need an engineers cert to show the smurfs if they ever picked up on the fact theyre not factory.

Hope this helps!

you are right there, but i think if you made a point of telling your mechanic that the brakes are not factory compliant then they may knock you back.
