VT brakes/hanbrake problem.

Hi guys, have had a dig around on the forum and cant quite find what im looking for.
Myself and a mate changed the rear discs and pads on the VT tonight (he swears he knows what his doing), but after driving it home from his place i get a weird scraping/squealing noise from the right hand rear. Could we have messed something up with the hand brake whilst removing the disc?

check pads arent in backwards
loosen off the nut AT THE HAND BRAKE see if noise still there
check calpiers and wheel nuts arent loose and that springs on pads are seated into the caliper on all the pads

dodgy hand brake check.... roll very very slowly in reverse 5km/hr
yank hand brake up let it down repeat about five times
then stopped lifit it up and down har with button pushed in
drive and see if helps
if that helps then the handbrake was adjusted unevenly and binding up or was too tight

if non eof this helps
jack up that side
take wheel off
spin it by hand
locate noise
