ive got a vt calais garnish and i have the globe holders.

just wondering if the parker globes above the reverse lights in the calais garnish are "red dual filament" and work as the same as the stop/brake lights (the main two lights), or just a "single filament" that work as just a light in the garnish when the lights are on like the number plate lights.

im just asking because im going to run some wires to make the garnish lights look like calais spec :)

    can i:

run a brake wire & parker wire from the main lights and there should be a negative wire in the boot already or should i run another negative also?

They are single white globes. 17c each. I have seen people with exec garnish that have mounted the lights at they appear as a red dot instead of lighting up the entire area. Looks poxy, i just bought a berlina garnish and plugged it in.

oh ok, so they work the same as the license plate lights? they light up when the lights are on, and they DONT get brighter when braking?

then i should be able put them in parallel with the license plate lights

Yes. They are only on when the headlamps are on.
