Good day people!! I had a few questions for you guys regarding my Calais. I own a Series 2 Calais which had a 3.5 V6 Eco-Tech in it. I did a bottom end on it and decided to go with a 355 Stroker out of a HSV VT Senator Signature after talking to sme people to which way I should go. The motor in and she is running (quite well). Some minor issues which I would like to sort out and hoping you guys can give me a direction. 1: The Calais has speed control steering. After conversion, it is not working. The steering is very sensitive. Gets very scary at high speeds. 2: How can I calibrate the Cluster to show the correct REV scale. It is showing an idle REV of 1500rpm. I think it is supposed to be around 700rpm optimum. Alos I was thinking about in a rear mounted Turdo system. Any pointers? Any advise would be greattly appreciated. PICS Attached Cheers, Ash.
You need a suitable scan tool to recalibrate the cluster. Are you using the power steering pump from the Calais, if not then that is your problem. Not familiar with turdos.
You need a tech 2 to reprogram the cluster from v6 to v8, holden can do this. Why the rear mounted turbo, why not underbonnet?
