- VT CALAIS GEN III
I am currently in the process of completely stripping out a 1999 VT Calais series II wth a Gen III to transplant into my 67 Pontiac Firebird. I am wanting to use the complete wiring loom from front to rear as I wish to retain some on the features that the Calais use.
Question I need answered is, can I with a Tech2 scan tool disable permanently:
The traction control, airbags and SRS , ABS braking, the climate control A/C Etc
As I would like to remove that wiring from the loom, as I don’t wish to use these features and functions and if I can’t do it with a scan tool what way can I disable or stop them being looked for in the ECU / BCM
Or Can they just be bridged out on the connector/s
Any info will be greatly appreciated
