My clutch needs to be replaced. Is it true that I need an entire new flywheel and clutch kit or just clutch kit. It's a series 1 manual s pack.

Also my boot lid leaks as soon as I open my boot once it's been raining and it's drenching my sub n amp. How do I stop? New seals or tail lights? A mate drilled minuscule holes but hasn't changed a thing.

    Can't help on clutch.

Boot lid, that's a curse of VT's. My solution, was to seal up the bootlid with silicone sealant, then drill 3 largish holes in the very base of the bootlid, which is plastic (that's where the water pools), the logic is it drains out before it builds up and the rest evaporates. This works rather well.

i think the theory is the parts are bloody cheap but labour is expensive so you may as well replace the lot while you're there

i had the clutch, fly and both cylinders replaced since the mechanic was able to charge the 1 labour rate and it is a 10 yr old car
