Vt commodore airbag light + thermos question

Hi guys, i have a vt commodore and its always had the airbag light come on occasionally every now and then, sometimes it will be on for half the day then turn on again the next day other times i wont notice it ( not sure if it comes on ) just wondering how i go about getting this fixed as i need to do a rwc soon to transfer it in my name ( was mum and dads car )

Also My thermos keep turning on quite often, say the car has been sitting there after driving and its been sitting there for like 2 hours ill turn the car to on before starting it and my thermos will turn on, my mate has a vt calais and his never comes on as much as mine although he has done plenum spacer mod and i know that helps to cooler but how often should my thermos be coming on????
