    Soon to be VT/VX Commodore
    Hi there guys,

I was wondering I am looking at buying a VT Commodore and thinking about possibly putting a 2004 VZ Monaro front bumper, headlights, grill and bonnet. Is this a simple bolt on application or should I get a shop to install it so it's done right as I'm not familiar with bodykits.

    Thanks, bowdenn

ive been looking at this for mine and i think for the most part it is a pretty simple bolt on. i think there are some tabs on the back of the bumper that need to be removed. as for the lights im not sure if you need to re-wire some things or not. there are a few walk throughs on this site somewhere.

He wont need vz front panels the vt ones will be fine, You will need either pontiac GTO altezza type headlights (are about $400 and you will have to import them) or genuine VZ monaro headlights (very very pricey), front grill inserts, badge, fog light inserts, parkers and fog lights Plus a Vz Monaro reo bar. (vz commodore one may work not sure).

It will cost you a fortune to do a VZ conversion but the look is very nice on the commodores.

Alternatively you just do a vt/vx monaro front conversion which will be alot cheaper and you could use vt headlights and generic fog lights. And did i mention its a hell of alot cheaper.
