+1 to bearings. Possibly suspension mounts if they weren't replaced.

    G'day Nomoola, all
    as you say
Put the offending side up on the jack. Be safety minded and chock up the car so that if it falls, it wont hurt you.
We will agrre that someone has been working under there, my first thought is that your wheel bearing has either collasped or running loose.

Could be as simple as adjusting the bearing.

when you grab the front wheel at the top and bottom can you rock it ?
When you rotate the wheel is it smooth running or grumbling.
What else do you think might be causing your problem?

ah dreadful knocks, they are ####s!

check for play in your brake callipers, all you need to do is grab the calliper and shake it, and if it moves and knocks alot, that can cause a rattle, maybe need a new calliper and new pins (i had this problem)

when you say about the suspension and "etc" what else have you changed?? have you changed sway bar link pins ( they get fkn noisy ), z arm bushes?

and also just jack your car up and check that everything is bolted in nice and tight.

    Cheers.
