Hi All,
Tried a lot of the advice on here already re Cruise Control faults.
Mine will work OK, then just suddenly turn off. Not just cancel cruising speed, but the cruise control system powers off. All cruise indicator lights on the dash go out and there is an audible 'tick' noise from under the dash. The cruise will then not be able to be powered back on for a period of time. The time between it 'tripping' off and the time it takes to become available again can range from 1 minute to 20 minutes and even span beyond turning the car off and back on again.
Interestingly, the 'tick' noise is not audible when powering or cancelling the cruise control in the conventional ways and the entire system powers down, doesn't just cancel, which leads me to believe it is not the brake switch or lights tripping it...
