VT cup holder upgrade fitting

Hi,
Just looking for more specifics on how to fit the cup holder (with lid) from vx into the vt dash to replace the original; exactly what needs to be cut?

hi
you will need to cut the bottom out of consil, you will be able to see the pipe work for the rear vents in the consil. (cup holder will cover them)
it may be easier to do this with the consil out, then you wont accdently cut the vent ducts because they are very close. there are threads on how to remove consil.
