    Hey Guys,

I have a VT Berlina which has a double DIN sized DVD/Stereo Unit installed... no idea who installed it as it was in the car when i got it.... I need to get at the rear to hook up some rear speakers but havent got a clue how to get the sucker out as it seems to be bolted or screwed in pretty well.

Tried removing the glovebox but ther is no access to the loom from there so i need to get the fascia off and i'm hoping someone has done it and can either tell me how or point me to a guide...

I have searched this forum for info but there seems to be little to be found.

    Cheers Graeme.

If its the standard double dimm eurovox cd player you can cut a coathanger into 4 streight pieces and use them as a tool to remove it.

There should be 2 tiny holes either side of the head unit to stick the prongs into.
When you push them in you can pull it out

the search feature on this forum doesn't seem to work that well. I use google instead, it works much better.

you have to search by title only and try guess the title of the thing your looking for. Not that hard once u work out what to type. but yeh, could be easier
