VT diff fit VZ??

    will a VT diff fit a VZ?? if not what different diff ratios can i get for my VZ... also will the diff gears out of a VT fit a VZ??

    No the VT uses the same/similar pinion flange to that used in VR/VS.
    The VZ run a different front flange also the gears are interchangable for the same model eg M78 or M80 but the later Vx-VZ has an extension on the pinion shaft to locate the 3 finger flange used on later versions.
    Better of trying to find the same diff out of a VX-VZ to swap over.
    What model diff is yours in the VZ M78 (V6) or M80 (V8) although all VZ's may be fitted with M80 diffs.
    What ratio do you want and what size engine.

    You can change the flange.

    ok just a V6 and i have no idea what diff i have i'm pretty sure the stock gears are 3.08 and i would like to go to a 3.77.. i'll get under and have a look today to find out what it have.

    If it's any help, most stock VZ V6's come with a 3.08:1 Ratio Dif.
    Or at least my exec does. Checked it yesterday.
