Hi,
my 02 VT has started to make a noise in the diff area of the car, I have in my day changed many CV joints in jap cars so I know what one sounds like when they let go, the noise I'm getting is exactly like a CV rattling it has been annoying I can tell you, 2 days ago I was driving out wanneroo rd and it started making said noise again, then it got louder and louder I thought the diff was going to fall out, I stopped at some lights when I took of it was quiet as like nothing had happened, is it an issue with the VT's or am I up for a diff replacement ? because at $400.00 a side to get the replacement cv's and shafts is way out of my range at the present. thanks in advance for any help on this matter.
