vt v6, mods(susp brakesetc...)
pretty common to have that there

to stop it happening again...
clean bolts AND threads in heads so no oil (carby cleaner and air blower)
and coat with loctite on installation after taking for a ten minute drive tighten them some more
and in a weeks time this stops the inlet manifolds loosening up again very very common
i am only one at my work that does this except for foreman and im the only one that hasnt had to redo them.. food for thought?

vs commodore
Id use the metal inlet manifold gaskets available from MACE.They reckon they wont leak again if you use these.Im gonna use them when I gotta do mine again.I did mine 150,000 ago,so they are probably half stuffed again now, although theres no symptoms yet.The gaskets I used before were ACL brand.

What about just tightening the bolts? Does that stop the leak?

You can try, some people have had some success, but best solution is to replace them.
