Hi, I've recently swapped my v6 auto vt to a ls1 manual.
I had a wreck and just swapped everything I needed over but I'm still having trouble with it.
It runs and operates fine but i have no air con or cruise control, I have an engine light on and when I plug a scan tool in I can't connect to the engine to even get a reading of the code.
Has anyone done this conversion before that could help me out?

    Cheers

Was it the same bcm as the ls1 car or another one? If its hooked up and running but won't connect I'd be going through all your wiring looking for dodgy connectors or a **** earth.

The bcm was the same as the one from the ls1.
Yeah I've had a look at the connectors, they all look fine

The fact that it is running shouldn't be a security issue, but did you swap key heads as well?

Is it a VT S1 or S2? If it's S1 you'll need to swap the wiring behind the dash over from an S2 VT or VX.

I didn't need to swap the BCM for my LS1 conversion, what errors is the tech2 getting? or can't connect to PCM?

Did you let the gas out? Which compressor are you using?
