So I got started on cutting and drilling out the spot welds over the weekend, well the cutting started after the spot weld cutter let go(was the only one left in town that I could find,so I have got a set on order)

I could have just drilled the rest out with a normal drill bit, but I will wait till the new cutters to arrive,as they do a so much neater job when you seperate the panels.
Was expecting alot worse underneath/inbetween rust wise,im so glad now I pulled the guards off when I did and found it sooner rather than later.
Having a doner car to get the panels is the only way I could repair it on my own neatly,it would look pretty wild(not that you see it once guards are on)if I had to bend it up!!

Bit more progress, spot weld cutter showed up so got the rest drilled out and the panel off.
They had to be doing work on the power lines today(on my one day off work!!) so waiting for the power to come back on, so I can see how bad my welding skills are(it's been awhile)!!

Once that is done I will give the bonnet a sand and prime.
I've gotta pay rates, regos×3 and I'm sure there's more before I can even start to think I can afford paint and clear.
So I guess the plus in that situation is, i will get to take my time on the bonnet as got few stone chips to fix.

Got it all tacked on and half ground when the grinder decided it had enough and doesn't want to play.

Only had the wild spot welds to clean up on the side and then a bit of paint.
I will take this grinder back and see if they repair or replace as wasn't that old,and only not long ago gave two away because I won't need them!at least I should get a loan of one, but I just hate asking to borrow tools.
Will put some paint on it to cover it up and go from there.
