vt for 5k

    Hey guys, ive got a mate who will sell me his vt for 5k, its manual, got a vy series 2 motor in it, leather seats, 20inch rims an has been dumped, just wondering if its worth 5k as i dont know much about vt's mainly vz/ve's cheers

    the motor may be a series 2 but whats the car, series 1 or 2, either way, i wouldnt pay 5k for one, have a look around, there are plenty of bargains around, you could get a vt calais for less

    VT's are doing well to break $3500 these days.

    Also I'd be cautious about a) buying from a mate and b) of the 'fully sick' work your mate has done to it.

    Also be asking why it needed a replacement motor and what condition the gearbox will be in.

    Ahhh...the car is a VT, the engine is VY. But either way, I wouldn't pay $5K for a VT, unless it's an LS1.

    For one i never said "fully sick" two it's manual, no manuals in town for sale, three I was going to ask why it's got a new motor

    Don't downgrade from a VZ to a VT mate, you will hate yourself. They are horrible to drive, and that interior... ugh.

    Kind of? its sucks real bad, but once i get a job an save a bit, then get a loan an ve sv6 here i come lol
