I have a VT wagon that has a noise like grinding coming from the front left. The noise only happens when steering right hand down like on a round about or sweeping right bend. It is also noticeable when driving straight. Left hand down & the noise disappears.
It is not constant, seems to be like grind, grind, grind, no noise for split second then it does it again. It is a sharp short noise.
I thought it might be the bearing on that side. Has anyone else struck this problem? What is the remedy?

    Was a 1997 vt v6 wagon
Jack up that corner and take the wheel off and spin the hub, feel and listen for roughness in the bearings. You will probably have to push the brake pads off the disc a little bit so as to have no drag.

Thanks for the advice, did just that Pablo & we noticed a definite difference between the 2 front wheels. I shopped around on price and in the end had it fitted at the local Ultra Tune who i know through the local Chamber of Commerce. All is good now, NO NOISE!!!
