just wondering about whether i can put an led each side into the vt boot garnish which is similar look to the vx calais look.

which is located above the reverse light, ive seen it done to a vt calais, but im not sure whether the executive and calais vt garnishes are the same.

ive heard you wire a dual filament globe (ive seen a 36 led) from the brown wires in the garnish on each side.

is this true? or not...

there is a pic to show you what i mean

ive had a look inside and it looks like there is a little cut out piece of plastic where it is shaped to where you cut it out and put a globe there, but they look smaller than the reverse light holes..

it may look like the same garnish but the executives have different garnishes. With the calais and the berlinas, theres a lil reflector in the garnish which distributes the light evenly. So even if you use the loom and bulbs from a calais, it'll just show up as two dots unless you get the whole garnish.
If you're lucky you can get a pretty cheap calais garnish on ebay. I picked mine up for $20
