hi i have a 97 vt and recently it has started to make a growning noise when changing from 4th back to 3rd. i also just noticed there are some drops of oil on the ground. could the gearbox have an oil leak and because of that there isnt enough oil in the box. or could i have bigger problems? :S

Auto or manual? I'm assuming auto seeing it's an Acclaim. Check your transmission fluid level with the dipstick in the engine bay, must be in park with engine running.
