Hi guys, so since I've bought my car my heater/ a/c controls haven't worked 100%. It's only when I switch it to face/feet it comes out from dash for a few minutes then finally switches to face/feet. Is this some sort of leak? Or have the controls finally hit the bucket?

First step is to check for a vacuum leak.
There is a small hose that comes out of the back of the intake manifold that goes though the fire wall.
For reference, the hose is of small diameter and will have a small, white, round one way valve inline with the hose.
This hose creates vacuum to control the selector for face, feet, etc.
Check that this hose is in good condition....no splits or cracks etc.
