Hey guys, my vt is playing up what it is doing is when i take it from park to a gear it clunks and it is reving to about 3000rpm before it wil change from 1st to 2nd, and i also have no overdrive ( 4th gear) what could it be??
Check your fluid level, if it is ok look at the colour of the fluid. Bright red, ok, brown not so ok, dark brown/black uh oh! Clutch material burned, trans is history. Red or brown fluid, try transmission service which means replace the filter and gasket and flush. If that does not work, replace the transmission. There are a couple of electronic problems also, check ALL of your fuses and relays, especially 20amp ones.
