VT L67 CALAIS
Hi all Members. I just picked up a VT Calais factory L67,
I have some plans for it but first, is to get it a RWC and then start the work needed to live up to the username.
It is mostly stock apart from the wheels, tint and LPG.
the clear coat is a mess with moderate scratches around it and even has the nice f rhs panel dings.

Model: 1998 VT Calais.
ENGINE: 3.8 ltr V6 L67.
FUEL: Petrol with direct lpg injection.
Wheels: 18" Monaro copies.(pretty sure) NEW tyres all round.
Springs: standerd factory.
Factory head unit with 10 cd stacker.
Interior: cloth with suede inserts, woodgrain t-bar surround.
Colour: Capricorn Green.
(better pics to come)

Hmmmm, It's a Feb 2016 post with nothing more following. I doubt it.

It's a stock as a rock L67, do a google search for engine pics with the cover off.

LPG on a L67? Not something that I've ever seen from the factory.

I have a friend that has a 2002 VXII Calais L67 that is on Gas, purchased it [18 months ago] at 90,000 k's for $5,000
However, it goes ok on gas, as its only just done approx. 102,000 k/m. [Genuine K's],
as it belonged to an elderly couple, and the husband past away, and the lady didn't want to drive a big car to the shops and back.
So she decided to sell it, and it was a bargain at t he time.
Where mine has always been very efficient on Petrol, that's when you do drive it correctly.
When we went and had a look at it, we thought its was an interesting setup for Gas, very neat tho, with it all fitting and looms under the engine cover,
Where I had to use a few more wire ties, to keep the looms together,
as the heat probably had deteriorated the existing wire ties.

Looks like they have cut half the cover off on the passengers side to fit the LPG Solenoids on the Manifold.
