I have a l67 VTS11 and a VS Exec ecotec wagon. Both Autos. Am wanting to swap over engines and wanting some advice. Most importantly is I want the l67 in the VS. the VT can sit for a while.
I've found a bit of info on an ecotec VT-VX into VS but leaves a few gaps.
What do I need to change or alter?
Sump? Any wiring?
I know that I'm going to have to leave my pacies and exhaust on the VT which is a bummer as it's new. Also the Mace CAI.
Should I also swap over the "high performance" gearbox out of the VT?
Do I swap over the whole PCM or just the memcal?
I have both complete cars so shouldn't be too much hassle sourcing parts but I need a daily driver so I am hoping to get all the work done over a couple of days with as much planning as possible.
